News from our custom shop: the deta bass .
A few details:
The traditional headstock features Warwick tuners designed for minimum weight.
The through neck is made of maple and padouk with an ebony fingerboard. The lower part of the body is made of lightweight swamp ash with a smooth body-to-neck transition for optimum playability.
The Deta features a wonderful AAAAA curly maple top.
The Babicz full contact bridge allows setup for optimum action and long sustain. Active electronics include volume, balance, bass, mid and treble. For the Deta we use the Aguilar OBP-3 unit with additional mid frequency control.
The Deta bass can also be supplied in translucent acrylic. Options include 4-/5-/6- string and fretless versions.
