The hexa one is the first model of our hexa series consisting of a lightweight acrylic body and a bolt-on neck. It has a long (647 mm) scale and 3 pickups giving the typical single-coil sound of that guitar category.
The maple neck has an ebony fretboard and 22 frets. It is 42 mm wide at the nut and its profile and depth allow all modern playing techniques.
The headstock was designed for minimum friction between strings and nut. Strings run in a perfectly straight line. String retainers are not necessary and the guitar stays in tune even with heavy tremolo use. We use Sperzel trim-lock tuning head on this model allowing precise tuning and extremely quick string replacement.Using only the finest components we have chosen the fantastic Wilkinson tremolo for the hexa one and combined it with the Schaller Sure-Claw system. Extreme bendings are possible without detuning.
All soundtracks of hexa guitars written, performed and recorded by Frank-M. Weber
