Eliminating typical 12-string problems: Most 12-string guitars have the tuners mounted on the headplate, leading to top-heavyness. The one-knob-tuner of the new Percy 12 is mounted at the body resulting in a lightweight headplate. Top-heavyness will no more be a problem.
Different from standard 12-string guitars the bridge of the Percy 12 can be adjusted separately for each string. Also the saddle is compensated. Thus the Percy 12 offers perfect intonation over the complete fretboard.
Pickups are Classic Stacks made by Seymour Duncan. As a standard the Percy 12 is delivered with active electronics and pots for volume, bass and treble. Pickups are selected by a 5-way switch and can be switched to single-coil mode. (The guitar in the picture is passive and has only one tone knob.)
The neck is made of padouk and maple and the body is - of course - made of acrylic. The Percy can be ordered as 6-string version, too.
